The Blonde Commandment explores the creation of modern icons and the unwritten rules that govern aspiration, beauty, and status. Referencing one of fashion's most enduring figures, the work transforms a familiar face into a hollow latex mask, reducing celebrity and authority to a symbolic object that can be worn, collected, or inhabited.
Equal parts homage and satire, the piece considers how image evolves into ideology, and how the aesthetics of luxury can begin to function as their own belief system. Detached from the individual, the mask becomes an artifact of cultural mythology, inviting viewers to question the performance of glamour and the identities constructed around it.
